At Cadence Homes we believe your home should be “your home”, not ours and not your neighbors! We allow, in fact, we encourage, you to be creative and modify our base plans to meet your family’s needs. In the event you just can’t find the right floor plan in our book of plans or if you are unable to modify our plans to get “your home” just the way you want we will work with you to design the perfect plan for you and your family.
We also understand that you may already own your lot but still want a Cadence Home, no problem, we build on other people’s lots all the time, give us a call and let’s get building!
SELECT A HOME STYLE
Your Cadence Homes Sales Associate will help you find the perfect home style with the perfect home plan - just for you in one of our many communities. Our innovative home styles consistently out shine the competition and bring color to any neighborhood.
SIGN AN OFFER,
To secure your new home, you will be invited to make a $1000 deposit, and to sign a real estate purchase contract provided by your Cadence Homes representative. This is fully refundable if you decide to back out, but it gives you the peace-of-mind that the home is legally on its way to becoming yours.
Once you have submitted your offer, contact your lender. They will send a pre-qualification letter to your Cadence Homes representative within a few days of your application. This will start the process of getting your new home financed with a great interest rate. If you are already pre-qualified with another lender, that's fine, but at least let our approved lender see if they can get you a better rate with our in-house financing program.
This is where you get to customize your home by selecting flooring, cabinets, counter-tops and colors for your new home. Plan on 3-4 hours for this appointment as you will design your home with one of our professional design consultants. After attending your design center appointment you will be asked to submit a 3.5% construction deposit. This money + the $1000 earnest money go toward the down payment of your new home.
If the home is already built and ready for you to move into, this step is not necessary. This is where the real fun begins! After choosing your flooring, cabinets, and counter-tops, we will hold a pre-construction meeting so that we are all on the same page as we begin to build you home. SIT BACK AND RELAX
Cadence Homes will now make your new home a reality. We will do what we do best - create the highest quality home tailor-made just for you. If the home is already built and ready for you to move into, this step is not necessary.
HOLD A FINAL WALK-THROUGH
We are excited to show you the finished product! Your new home is 99% complete! Together we will walk through, open and shut doors & windows, turn switches on & off, and teach you how to operate and care for your new home.
CLOSE ON YOUR NEW HOME,
It's time to meet at the title company and sign the final documents. This is where your new home is transferred into your name. After your home has funded and recorded at the county, we will hand you the keys to your brand new home!
